For Independent Photographers:
Q: Is there an up-front cost?
A: The only cost, per home, is the price of one virtual tour credit. Compared to larger systems, you do not need to purchase an in-house camera or yearly subscription hosting. Our aim is to provide an affordable virtual tour platform for the independent photographer, no matter how little or extensive their business is. As of January 2019 the cost of one credit is $13 Canadian, ($10 US). We prefer payment to be made by online banking Etransfer. Payment must be made up front.
Q: What file sizes should each photo have?
A: We have prompts built into the admin panel to guide you through the process. It’s easy!
Q: What if I need to re-order or delete images?
A: You will have access to our admin panel which allows a myriad of choices in that regard. You can add/re-order/ delete. There is a feature which allows for annotations. You can name and order the panoramas. You can customize your client’s profile with a choice of colours and layouts. You can have up to two logos (realtor’s own and office logo). There is also the ability to add additional realtors for co-listed properties.
Q: I’m somewhat new to real estate photography. What if I need help or have questions?
A: We understand the business from A-Z having been in it full time for over 15 years. We are happy to help with any questions you may have. On that note, Susan is currently taking on new photographers in an online, distance mentoring program if you need in-depth training.
Q: How do I get my branded, unbranded links and access to high res photos?
A: You will receive a tour activation email with three buttons. Two of the buttons have these links. The third button “Agent Console/Tour Management” will bring you to the admin panel which has many options for you, including the zipfile download link (to download high res photos). If you haven't received the activation email, please check your spam inbox in case it went astray.
Q: My client wants certain photos removed or re-ordered. Can I do that myself?
A: Yes, you can! Go to the Agent Console/Tour Management and look for the associated buttons. It’s easy and always available to you.
Q: I want a look that reflects my branding. Is that possible?
A: Yes, you can choose one of three layouts as well as any combination of colours on your profile banner. You can add new logos (up to two) including your portrait at any time. You can even add your tagline. We understand that branding yourself is crucial to your success.
Q: I want to highlight certain features in my listing. How is that done?
A: We have an annotation feature where you can click and drag your cursor to create an annotation box. Add as many as you like. It’s a great way to grab a viewer’s attention to features not necessarily visible.
Q: I want to upload my own photos. Is that possible?
A: Yes, it is. Please note the guidelines for photo sizes in the admin panel before uploading.
Q: How long will my virtual tour be active?
A: The tour will be active for two years, after which time you will need to contact your photographer or us directly to purchase an additional time length.
